"Just to have one sunflower would make me really happy!"

Our Farm Team

Everyone on the farm has a role to keep things running smooth!

Dr Joseph Muise, DVM

Farm and Herd Manager

I grew up on a dairy farm and have been a small animal veterinarian for almost 40 years.  Our alpaca farm keeps us active and I take the lead on herd health, nutrition and breeding programs.

Barb Bunker

FIbre Enthusiast - Mill Operator

After 35 years in healthcare,  I have now transitioned to 'all things alpaca' full time.  I love the opportunity to work on the farm and transform this luxurious fibre into finished products in the mill.  It brings me back to my roots and my passion for the creative arts.

Bella, Jenna and Finni

Alpaca Security Team

We are the  "Alpaca Security Team".  We enjoy spending our days in the fields with The Crew, but don't tell mom and dad ... we sometimes tap naps too under the trees - afterall, watching alpacas all day is hard work!

The Crew

Fondly Called The Producers

Our large herd of Huacaya Alpacas have the most important job of all.  You will see them spend their days out to pasture, or maybe resting in the shade of the barn taking a nap.  Most importantly, during all of this - they are growing fibre - and that is hard work!

PS:  The boys are always in the front pasture cloest to the road ~ and the girls are in the back pasture ~ (for obvious reasons of course!) :-)

How to find us?

From Toronto, take Hwy 401 eastbound  and take the Exit #461 'Toronto Road, Welcome'.  . Turn left (north) and travel northbound - this road becomes County Road 10.   Drive for approximately 18 kms north.  Our farm is located on the left hand side, as you come over a small hill - you can't miss it!

From Kingston, take Hwy 401 westbound and take the Exit #461 'Toronto Road, Welcome'. . Turn left (north) and travel northbound - this road becomes County Road 10. Drive for approximately 18 kms north. Our farm is located on the left hand side, as you come over a small hill - you can't miss it!

From Peterborough, take Hwy 115 southbound, and take the Exit Cavan/Millbrook.  Turn left (south) and travel southbound into the village of Millbrook.  At the stop sign, turn left.  Drive @ 500 yards, and turn right at Duke Street (County Road 10).  This intersection is easily recognized for it's flashing traffic light.  Drive approximately 7.3 km south on County Road 10.  Our farm is located on the right.  Note:  You will notice the house numbers decrease - that is ok ~ just keep driving - you are travelling the right direction!  It is because our farm is located just across a township border.

From Oshawa, take Hwy 115 northbound, and exit at Regional Road 9 (Brimacombe Ski exit).  Continue straight on Regional Road 9 - travelling eastbound for approximately 16 kms.  You will drive into the town of Garden Hill, and drive past the General Store.  At the next major intersection of Regional Road 9 and County Road 10, turn left.  Travel 4.1 km northbound on County Road 10.  The farm is located on your left.
